"American Outback"
SF role-playing game module -- 52 pages plus color maps
Reviving from cryogenic slumber Recon Team V-3 find themselves in the Nevada high desert, as expected. Their mission is simple: conduct reconnaissance of eastern Nevada, evaluate what can be used and what is needed to help rebuild the U.S., and report that information to Prime Base. What they find, however, is a land of steam locomotives, cattle drives, six-shooters, and a brewing range war with the local Indian tribe. Unable to contact their superiors, the team must rely on their general orders, find a missing Indian girl and try to keep the peace. It won't be an easy task...
The most recent of my string of role-playing game adventures written for The Morrow Project which is put out by Timeline Ltd. The module is a long-awaited sequal to my first module "Desert Search" ... arriving on the market nearly 20 years after R-007 first saw print ... and continues the Nevada desert campaign that was introduced all those years ago.
An interesting bit of trivia is that the "frame" that surrounds the cover artwork and displays which type of MP unit is used in the adventure (a Recon team in this one) was my creation, which the company decided to use on all future modules.
The module is currently available directly from the publisher at Timeline Ltd.
