"Por Favor" -- Warthaven comic strip

Page xxxviii

A three-panel cartoon by the reknowned SCAdian artist Master William Blackfox, O.P., C.S.M.,C.I.M.,O.S.T.B., Crane. (Also known mundanely as Mark Wallace).

I wrote the gag that was drawn into the cartoon that appeared in this issue of Pikestaff, which constitutes my only foray so far into storyboarding cartoon strips. Written under my Society of Creative Anarchronism name of Roberto de Jerez, the storyline is a play on words for the classic Monty Python skit "No One Expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

A really cool bit of trivia: I was the actual model the artist used for the hapless Spanish Conquistador in the cartoon who gets the full treatment of the Spanish Imposition.
