Qing Li is a Special Agent of the Bureau of Social Responsibility, Department A, Section 5, Draper City Apparat, assigned to duty in the Keleyat Administrative Zone.
Li is one of the two agents that Avery Granitski chose to be his assistants once he moved from Section 1 to Section 5 of the Enemies Directorate. Li denies having ever OA'd -- traced her "oldest ancestor" -- but through her family records can trace her lineage as far back as her ancestor Chuntao Li, who lived in China during the middle of the 19th Century.
Li is a classic Chinese beauty, whose quiet smile conceals many secrets. One of these is that she is convinced that, centuries ago, a EruoFren soldier, Erich Sauer, raped her ancestor Chuntao Li, an action that placed his family under an ancient Chinese curse. She also believes that the current scion of the Sauer family living on Mars, Reto Sauer, is the inheritor of the curse: that he is doomed to fall in love with her, and that she will then ruin his life.
