Plaar of Clan Ju-simgaa is a an Uhrhm or "Advisor" to Res Kendae, and serves as her confidant. She is one of the rare "thirdsex" hermaphrodite Keleyat that are outwardly female, but have male genetalia as well. She was chosen for this job by Res, her cousin, who wanted someone she could trust whom she thought would truly understand the politics of the job, as Res is at heart a military officer.

She is assigned to serve Res Kendae, as a part of the delegation representing the Princess Kerisha.

Thirdsex Gender -- The hermaphrodite pronouns used by Keleyat speaking in Terran Common Language (TerLan) are taken directly from the Keleyat language. [This is also true in how the Keleyat use "ommale" for the Human term "male".] It should be noted that in Keleyat nouns are often identical whether used to describe singular or plural objects (e.g., Hu-Mon). This is often confusing to monolingual Humans, since TerLan has relatively few words that are spelled and pronounced the same way in both their singular and plural forms (e.g., deer, sheep, fish). Because this fact is not widely recognized, Humans adapting the Keleyat terms often mistakenly make "chel" (which is both a singular and a plural form) into "chels" by the improper addition of an -s at the end; e.g., "I am hers" as "I am chels" or "Her head hurts" as "Chels head hurts" when the proper form would be I am chel and chel head hurts.
