William Packard Johnson is a Certified Fugitive Recovery Agent (a bail enforcement agent). He carries twin 9mm Walter P99 pistols and fires them akimbo. He works for
Diospyros Bail Bonds, which has offices in the Fidelity Bank Building. He is a thin guy with short brown hair and a narrow face hidden by mirrored sunglasses. Being the junior partner of his team of bounty hunters, he does not disagree with the others much. He was there the day that Big Tommy Mullins got shot in the head, and watched Joi Li use ancient Chinese magic to bring Mullins back from the dead. As a result, he tries to not disagree with Joi Li on
anything.
A computer nerd, Kayak doesn't take painkillers unless he absolutely has to--too many odd and/or bad side effects. He got his nickname from the fact that he loves to kayak whenever he gets a free day. His partners may get their kicks from taking down criminals on the run from justice; Johnson gets his kicks from running the rapids.
Running joke? Kayak just can't seem to get laid.
